... is a second generation photographer, growing up in the shadow of her father and his darkroom. With his infinite love for capturing the moment instilled in her, Julie followed in his footsteps behind a camera, always amazed by the beauty around her and the ability to hold onto it forever.

Hand coloring a black and white photograph is magical ... and Julie’s specialty. Imagine a close-up image of your child in a setting of giant old Cottonwood trees, with the rough bark of the trees as an amazing contrast to your child’s smooth, chubby cheeks. Add just a hint of color to those cheeks and you’ve created something special and amazing. Something you will treasure forever.

Julie has a degree in photography from the Art Institute of Denver. Her love for photographing nature, architecture and children creates an amazing contrast of man-made shapes, natural textures and, of course, the beauty of children.
